ibis Nancy Centre Gare et Congres

You always know what you are getting with Ibis- average sized rooms, clean & comfortable with friendly staff. This location checked all those boxes. I added breakfast and it was as good as usual. It's not fancy but it has everything you need at a fair price.

The location is super simple due to its proximity to the railway station in Nancy. You could literally fall off the train and land in this hotel. Staff were always polite & tolerant of my attempted French. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was handy with a good range on offer.

kindness and helpfulness of the lady at the front desk, friendlyness of the staff in general, my request for a change of room was followed-up as quick as possible - and I got a room with a really nice view (facing the square in front of the main station and also the surroundings! So, here is my advice: If you want a room with a nice view, ask for a room number ending in 20 oder 22! :-) breakfast was marvellous with croissants, pains de chocolat, mini-crepes and madeleine fresh from the oven, also fresh fruit, fruit salad - all I could wish for situation of the hotel is PERFECT for train travellers as it is right in front of the train station and within short walking distance from the main sights
